January 31st, 2008
For the month, thd Dow lost 4.63 percent.
For Christ sake’s AP, run a fucking spell check before you post.
Does the Pope poop in the Vatican?

“shattered the barriers meant to protect human dignity”,
No such thing. I didn’t see any fucking piece of this barrier around my dignity. And really, Reuters, what’s with the fucked up misplacement of quotation marks in today’s article, half of them misplaced in front of other punctuation, half of them coming after in the proper place.
I have a message. Don’t trust popes. In fact, don’t trust people who are trying to protect their own power in the world.
Bush to United States taxpayers: Fuck you, you don’t get any money.
January 31st, 2008
He will try to extract some $178 billion in savings from Medicare, … , He will also seek $17 billion in savings from Medicaid, … , On his watch, the budget shifted from surpluses to deficits that reached a high of $413 billion in 2004. In the last three years, the deficits have narrowed but that is about to change. The budget is expected to forecast deficits of $400 billion for both 2008 and 2009. And Congress is considering a $150 billion economic stimulus package — backed by Bush — that would give Americans tax rebates in an effort to ward off a recession. The package would further add to the deficit.
Jesus crap, where to start? Stealing from the elderly that saved our asses during dubya dubya two, stealing from the poor he’s helped create with the mismanagement of our country, and then stealing, or more likely borrowing, $150 billion in a phoney-baloney tax return scam. I’m sure you all remember the $300 return from right after 9/11? The one you had to pay back at tax time? Yeah, this 150 billion they’re ‘giving’ to the people to stimulate the economy they’re going to want back next year. My advice? Fuck them and throw it into a savings account, then at least you’ll get to keep a few bucks when you have to give your $600 back next year.
Save your money, and keep an eye on your stocks. I know I am. It’s gonna take a while to ramp up, but the Great American Housing Fuckup isn’t anywhere near the end, and you, my brother and sister Americans, will all topple like dominoes together. I’m not too worried about myself, but I am worried about people dumber than me that will suddenly be poor and desperate, and, this being America, have access to cheap firearms.

But White House officials said Mr. Bush had been taking the opportunity, as he did in Monday’s State of the Union address, to prepare Americans for the possibility that, when he leaves office a year from now, the military presence in Iraq will be just as large as it was a year ago, or even slightly larger.
I like how “troop drawdown” is turning into “son of surge.” Didn’t they just say they had things unfucked over there? Or is it just that Iraq is so fucked that mass-murder there doesn’t even rate national consciousness in the news headlines?

You don’t sit around arguing about who set the fire if you haven’t put the fire out yet.
What the fuck’s a closer question?
January 29th, 2008
“There are some circumstances where current law would appear clearly to prohibit the use of waterboarding. Other circumstances would present a far closer question,” he said.
Can you lean a bit closer and shout your question in these circumstances? Or better yet, can you waterboard your question in this circumstance?
Some truth from Bush.

But he praised the work of American and Iraqi forces in achieving “results few of us could have imagined just one year ago” and assured Americans that al-Qaeda “will be defeated”.
People are almost not dieing horribly every day. We’re making good progress over there. He’s right, I can hardly believe it. Pretty soon we’ll be back to a pre-American dominance level of brutality, and some day, maybe, we’ll get to a stage where Saddam’s remembered cruelty isn’t something Iraqis look back on fondly.
Ahhh media, got to love thee

In an article on CNet addressing the group Anonymous’ efforts to get the Church of Scientology’s mishaps covered in news media in a sane way, by posting videos on youtube, the article has the following keywords and tags:
Topics: Criminal Hackers, Security
Tags: security, denial of service, defacement, Church of Scientology, YouTube
Absolutely no mention of ANYTHING involving criminality, hacking, security, denial of service or defacement was mentioned ANYWHERE in the article. The only thins mentioned was the CoS and YouTube. If posting home-made videos to YouTube is criminil hacking, defacement and denial of service, well….
935 so far
January 25th, 2008
935 what you say? Public lies from the Bush administration in the lead-up to the invasion of Iraq.
And I’m guessing we won’t see this reported too much outside of ‘biased’ news sources like Democracy Now!
Bill Clinton lied about a blowjob, and the country blew up over it.
I’m shocked
January 19th, 2008
Apparent gaps in White House e-mail archives coincide with dates in late 2003 and early 2004 when the administration was struggling to deal with the CIA leak investigation and the possibility of a congressional probe into Iraq intelligence failures.
No really, I’m completely shocked. They learned. That’s right, they learned. Otherwise GWB’d have been Nixoned out of office by now. Nixon loved audiotape. That was his undoing. GWB had records destroyed (obviously went for the obvious shotgun method, so they are definately hiding something foul here, there is absolutely no reason for covering up their good-doing, only evil-doing, right?)
The government is of the people, by the people, for the people, right? Why are they telling us it’s none of our business what they are doing? That’s unconstitutional.
